Â鶹´«Ã½ Celebrates a Stunning Hat Trick at the 2025 QCIS Swimming Championships

Wednesday 12 Mar

In a remarkable display of skill and camaraderie, Â鶹´«Ã½ has once again clinched victory at the QCIS Interschool Swimming Championships, marking their third consecutive win.

Head of HPE and Sport, Joshua Biscoe, reflected on this win event with immense pride. "Swimming is often considered a predominately individual sport, and at the 2025 event we had some phenomenal individual performances, including several record holders," Biscoe remarked.

"However, to win a carnival like QCIS, it takes a team effort," he continued, shedding light on the foundation that has led to their repeated success.

Winning the QCIS championship three years in a row is a testament to the robust team mentality that thrives at Concordia. It stands as a demonstration of the students’ commitment to their peers and the profound pride they take in representing their school.

Mr Biscoe acknowledged this spirit, saying, "To win that carnival 3 years in a row goes beyond effort, it is a team mentality, a commitment to your peers and a pride for the school you are representing. It is this commitment and pride that I am most proud of.â€

This victory is not only a celebration of the swimmers but of all who have contributed to the team over the past three years.

Congratulations to each student who has been a part of the Concordia Jets QCIS swim team over the past three years, for without them, such an achievement would not be possible.

Other local schools competing in the QCIS Interschool Swimming Championships include Downlands, Toowoomba Anglican School, Scots PGC College, Our Lady of the Southern Cross.
