A great band, already formed in 1989, I discovered just recently.
Quote from pago libre's site: "pago libre is ... an acronym of the founding membersí names: Italian bassist Daniele PAtumi, native American violinist Steve GOodman, Swedish trumpeter Lars LIndvall, and Irish-Swiss pianist John Wolf BREnnan. The quartet first got together in 1989. Shortly after, Goodman left and was replaced by Austrian violinist Tscho Theissing. In October 1994, Russian French horn player Arkady Shilkloper (replacing Lindvall) became the fourth member."
The group recorded four CDs, which are still available. Tscho Theissing announced a new CD "stepping out" to be released by Leo Records [LR 444] in autumn of 2005.

Current Lineup (as it will appear on the new CD)

Cinénemagique can be ordered @ JAZZTIME CD-Shop, Switzerland. JAZZTIME CD-Shop doesn't provide listening samples.
