The Ohad Talmor Septet a/k/a 7 Déjà Vus (USA)

The group started as a feature for the legendary alto saxophonist Lee Konitz, touring Europe with him in 1998. Since then, the Septet has changed its line up and welcomed John O'Ghallager. The group explores a repertoire featuring sophisticated writing mixing European Classical influences (G.Ligeti, A. Schnittke), Indian ragas and contemporary jazz tradition.
